9月10日-13日，在第42届中国（上海）国际家具博览会（CIFF）上，作为中意文化交流系列活动之一，“上海-米兰”双城新锐设计师交流展将精彩亮相。

 

On September 10-13, the Shanghai-Milan New Design Talents Show will kick off at the 42nd China International Furniture Fair (Shanghai) as one of the activities of Sino-Italian cultural communication.

The Shanghai-Milan New Design Talents Show is hosted by China International Furniture Fair (Shanghai), joint with Shanghai Promotion Center For City Of Design and China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, under the guidance of the Foreign Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Sino-Italian Cultural Cooperation Mechanism.

届时，20位来自上海和米兰的新锐设计师（上海、米兰各10名）将在上海虹桥国家会展中心，呈现他们极具代表性的原创家具家居类设计作品。这些原创作品展现了两个城市最新锐的潮流趋势、艺术风格以及创意。极具匠心的展览将呈现出一个多元价值的双城关系，促进上海更多国际化的设计交流和发展。

 

At that time, 20 new designers from Shanghai and Milan (10 from Shanghai and 10 from Milan) will present their representative original furniture and home design works at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai Hongqiao) . These original works show the latest trends, artistic styles and ideas of the two cities. The ingenious exhibition will present the multi-value relationship between the two cities, and promote the international cultural exchanges and development in Shanghai.

 

米兰 Milan

无设计 不生活

Milan is a world-famous fashion capital and design city, with an innate passion for design. From history to the present, the concept of “no design, no life” has infiltrate into the urban spirit of Milan. From architecture, fashion, furniture to various luxury brands, from macaroni to Ferrari, from a spoon to a city, everything reflects the Italian design ethos. From the world's top Milan Design Week to Milan Fashion Week, which is one of the four major fashion weeks, as well as Milan Furniture Fair, Milan Triennale; the cutting-edge, innovation and tolerance of the city bring together the world's top design concepts and products. 卓越城市 设计之都

 

而上海，随着经济社会的不断发展，特别是在2010年加入联合国教科文组织“创意城市”网络，成为世界设计之都之后，创意设计的发展蓬勃兴起，设计越发被产业和社会所关注、重视，上海设计之都活动周、上海时装周等已逐渐成为这座城市极具影响力的活动和城市名片，设计的价值在产业结构升级、城市更新、社会进步等各方面得到了充分的体现，随之发展和涌现的一批设计师已成长成为世界范围内不可忽视的创意生力军。

 

In Shanghai, with the continuous development of economy and society, especially after joining the UNESCO Creative City network in 2010 and becoming the world’s design capital, the development of creative design has flourished, and design has become more and more concerned by industry and society. Shanghai Design Capital Activity Week and Shanghai Fashion Week have gradually become the city's most influential activities and city business cards. The value of design has been fully reflected in industrial structure upgrading, urban renewal, and social progress. A group of designers emerged in that course have become an unneglectable worldwide creative force .

 

 

“上海-米兰”双城新锐设计师交流展上，可以看到上海与米兰两座城市年轻设计师的代表作品，两地新锐设计师的设计思维在此碰撞出了火花，也是年轻一代文化交流的集中体现。

 

At the Shanghai-Milan New Design Talents Show, you can see the representative works of young designers from Shanghai and Milan. The design thought of the new talented designers in two cities will be sparkling here and the younger generation will enjoy cultural communication. 

 

 

 

 

设计师 曾强

 

上海设计师曾强是十二时慢的创始人，创意作品荣获CANNES等全球各大权威广告大奖，连续两年成为中国地区获奖最多的创意人。他说：“我是一个创意人，就应该有很多想法，这些想法会催生很多个人爱好，家居设计是我最想尝试的。今天，我想做好一个中国的家居设计品牌。世界家居设计，需要更多中国的名字。”

 

Shanghai designer Zeng Qiang is the founder of the furniture design brand Shiershiman(12h). His creative works won the world's leading advertising awards such as CANNES and he was the creative person who had won the most awards in China for the last two years . He said: "As a creative person, I live and work with so many ideas. These ideas inspired me to have different hobbies, among which furniture design is the one tempts me most and longest. This is why I’m here doing this. We want the whole world to know that China has great design."

设计师 柴吉昌

 

说到设计师柴吉昌，圈内人早已耳熟能详。他毕业于全欧排名第一的英国伯明翰珠宝学院，毕业后留校当过助教，获奖无数。FrankChai品牌创立于2013年，品牌理念在于将珠宝首饰融入艺术性，观赏性与实用性，坚持以人文及自然为主的创作题材，坚持原创设计，放弃大规模生产化，坚持单件作品高质量的独立设计师品牌风格。

 

Designer Chai Jichang is already very popular among the insiders. He was graduated from the Birmingham Jewelry College in UK, which is ranked first in Europe. After graduation, he worked as an assistant professor and won numerous awards. Founded in 2013, the FrankChai brand’s idea is to integrate artistry into jewellery, to insist on appreciation and practicality. It adheres to the theme of humanity and nature, insists on original design, abandons mass production and insists on high quality single work with independent designer brand style.

设计师 钱菁

 

自2009年，专注于平面设计的文化，艺术以及时尚领域，钱菁以独立设计师身份和众多巴黎及上海的艺术家，画廊，艺术节，美术馆以及商业品牌进行平面设计的合作，包括2010年世博会法国馆，法国蓬皮杜美术馆，宜家，明珠美术馆等等。2016，在参与法国领事馆官邸改造项目中，和王小奔意外合作设计了第一款地毯之后，便共同创建了MEW磨叽 手工地毯品牌，希望在延续地毯的传统手工工艺基础上做更新的，更有趣的实验及尝试。

 

Since 2009, Qian Jing, who has been focused on the culture, art and fashion field of graphic design, has worked as an independent designer on graphic design with a number of artists, galleries, art festivals, art galleries and commercial brands in both Paris and Shanghai , including the French Pavilion at the World Expo 2010, the Pompidou Museum in France, the IKEA, the Pearl Art Museum, etc. In 2016, when participating in the French consulate's official mansion renovation project, she unexpectedly design the first carpet cooperated with Wang Xiaoben. After that they jointly established the MEW handmade carpet brand, hoping to update the traditional handcrafting process of the carpet and make more interesting new experiments.

Zhmartdesign founder and design director Zuo Hui has rich experience in product design, product line strategy and brand planning. Her design field covers digital and home appliances, furniture, gifts and other industries. She believes that every idea has a potential and her product concept is popular and favorable among consumers. She is good at perfectly combining art and design. Her design process pays great attention to the collision and integration of Chinese and Western cultures and she is good at PI-oriented brand design strategy. Her design products has been exported to Europe, America, Japan and Korea.

设计师 Emanuele Magini

 

意大利设计师Emanuele Magini毕业于米兰理工大学工业设计专业，曾参与过意大利迪士尼乐园的设计，获得过日本优良设计奖、IF产品设计奖，入选ADI设计名录。

 

Italian designer Emanuele Magini was graduated in Industrial Design at the Politecnico di Milano. He was set-designer for Walt Disney Italy. He have received awards such as Good Design Award, IF product design award and the ADI design index.

设计师 Federica Biasi

 

出生在米兰的Federica Biasi毕业于欧洲设计学院，致力于家具与陶瓷餐具、纺织品设计，对手工艺制品有着强烈的追求。今年，她被M&O巴黎展评为6位意大利新星之一。

 

Federica Biasi was born in Milan and graduated with honours from IED. She further more develops ceramic tableware, textile products and furniture, she strongly believes in the strength of the handcrafted products. She has been awarded in Paris during Maison&Objet as one of 6  Italian Rising Talent this year.

设计师 Alessandro Stabile

 

Alessandro Stabile是一名生于米兰的85后，毕业于米兰理工大学。他是Have a Good Tie品牌的联合创始人和艺术总监。2013年，他被纽约意大利文化学会评为“意大利最佳年轻工业设计师”。2016年，他的两个项目赢得Young & Design奖。

 

Alessandro Stabile (Milan, 1985) holds a BA in industrial design from the Politecnico di Milano. He is the co-founder and art director of the brand “Have a Good Tie”. In 2013, he is selected by the Italian Cultural Institute of New York as one of ten “Top Young Italian Industrial Designers”. In 2016, two of his projects won Young&Design award.

Valerio Sommella Design Studio的联合创始人Valerio Sommella 说，“我认为每个项目都是挑战我的设计理念的机会，是环境，用户，材料，技术与美之间的持续对话。由此产生的不是同一本书的章节，而是短篇小说，每一篇都有自己的情节，角色和结局。”

 

Valerio Sommella, co-founder of Valerio Sommella Design Studio, said, “I think of every project as an opportunity to challenge my idea  of design, a constant dialogue between context, users,  materials, technologies and beauty. The resulting objects are not chapters of the same book, but short stories, each one with its own plot, carachters and finale”.
